Neuromas occur when the nerves between two toes get pinched at the level of the ball of the foot. Most often it occurs between the third and fourth toes (Morton's Neuroma) although it does occur between the second and third toes also. Pain, numbness and tingling to the respective toes results which is aggravated by tight shoes.

Neuroma

This is only a few of the more common foot problems we treat. Other conditions we treat are: ganglions, tendinitis, ankle sprains, stress fractures, arthritis, Charcot foot, avascular necrosis, apophysitis, osteomyelitis and many more.

NOTE:We try to exhaust all conservative measures prior to performing surgery. Sometimes non surgical treatment can help, but it may only be temporary. For certain problems, surgery is often the more definitive answer to a persistent problem and the best way to prevent more serious conditions. Surgery by a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine may be your best option. We perform all surgeries in our office utilizing a local anesthetic.
